Description
New low-budget tank as a cost-effective replacement for the original tank. Suitable for all Vespa Largeframe vehicles from 1957 onwards (VNA, VNB, VBA, VBB, GT, GTR, TS, Sprint, PX old etc.).
Not of the same quality as an original tank, as it is made in India. However, it is solidly made and has a good roll-welded seam, making it permanently leak-proof. Only the tank cap closure could be better finished. However, with a little reworking, the result can be significantly improved (use a different knurled nut).
CONCLUSION: Ideal for an inexpensive repair where looks are not the main priority.
NOTE: PX Lusso and PX Zwitter models (1983-1984) whose side covers are already closed with levers under the seat can only use this tank with modifications. To do this, simply file the missing recesses for the levers out of the sheet metal collar of the tank. This will not affect the tightness of the tank.
