The seat benches of the early Vespa PX models (1977-1983) has as a distinguishing feature a screwed plastic lettering support (above the seat lock). It is also slightly more rounded at the front than the later bench seats of the PX Lusso models. The seat benches are interchangeable on all PX models. So a bench seat from 1977 still fits a PX from the 2016 model year and vice versa.

The bench seat frame is, as in the previous models Rally/Sprint, made of steel with spring core.
The cover is only fixed to the frame with galvanized steel clips.
Therefore, a refurbishment of the seat is no problem even for not so experienced screwdrivers.
