Direct-intake cylinder by the Italian tuning mastermind Max Quattrini for Vespa largeframe engines.
First things first: This is the highest performing kit for 125/150 cc PX engines.
As can be expected in this price class, the cylinder is nikasil-coated. Thanks to the 62 mm bore diameter, 57 mm of stroke are enough to achieve 172 cc.
The M1XL is directly supplied with the fuel-oil mixture via the cylinder. The reed blocks are directly mounted into the cylinder, the crankcase intake can therefore be closed. Six amply dimensioned transfer ports and one large exhaust port make up the basic layout of the cylinder.
Furthermore, the reinforced piston is equipped with two thin rings.
When used together with the right accessories, 24 hp and a wide speed band are possible.
The package comes with the large four-reed block and matching intake manifold.
