- Carbs from 30 mm on can be used on your engine. With a 34 mm carb the power increase is heavy.
The primary compression is lowered. Especially on strong going and fast road scooters this is a great advantage to better the cylinder filling.
- The longer inlet tract brings the power lower down in the rev range. A wise step to gain the power increase of the large carb on the street and not on the dyno only.
You should have an eye to the gap between the carb and the helmet storage space though. With the revised carb position the crab can foul. You should check this before using the scoot and test what happens when the shock is compressed as well. Nine times out of ten the helmet case hast to be modified.
The high precision made parts can be fitted with sealing compound. A gasket is not necessarily needed.
