*Some engines (usually still with contact ignition) still have the transmission type of the Sprint Veloce models. They use a different bearing on the reduction gear. They also use a different type of auxiliary shaft and different auxiliary shaft needles. Since the auxiliary shaft axle in the bearing area of the needles is often worn out (pitting), it should be replaced by a new one. The needles supplied in the set above will fit into this new one. The original Sprint auxiliary shaft axle uses pointed needles which can only be used in the old auxiliary shaft axles. Therefore in case of doubt always order these parts in addition to the kit:
