The bgm PRO Racing Shaft with 54 mm stroke is the maximum for racing or ambitious road tuning.the cheek diameter has been enlarged in contrast to a normal shaft to achieve the necessary higher overlap at the crankpin despite the increased stroke and thus additional torsional resistance. This minimizes the risk of twisted cheeks and a welding with the usual disadvantages is not necessary.

The engine housing must be spindled out to Ø88 mm in the area of the crank webs to accommodate the shaft.

A huge advantage is the high-quality 105 mm long connecting rod, with cleanly executed lubrication holes and now 5mm thick. This is eight millimetres longer than the standard connecting rod of the 125cc. The advantages of the longer connecting rod are a more favourable deflection angle and the resulting lower friction of the piston in the raceway.

This increases the performance and results in a lower pre-compression, which works great especially with the new reso systems such as the Feuerzauber from Ludwig und Scherer. Also the transition at the overflow to the engine housing can be made much more flow-favorable, which results in a better performance.

We also recommend the spacer (BGM0223) to distance the cylinder and to keep the control times the same. Furthermore, longer M7 studs (BGM 0290) must be used. All this is included in the kit (7673184).
