Our SCK cylinder basic sets offer an uncomplicated and quick entry to get your vehicle moving. The screwing skills are there but the experience is missing which components harmonize well with each other? This is where our ready-made kits come in, which provide the basis for a powerful, durable engine suitable for everyday use. In order to achieve good acceleration and a good pull you need more torque, which also increases the power.

All attempts to get more acceleration out of an engine with little power, for example with another clutch or variomatic, are usually not very successful because they only try to bring the available power perfectly on the road. If there is not much power available, even the best sport variator can only improve the acceleration a little.

That's why our basic kits start directly where the power is generated, in the heart of the engine. Not only is the torque greatly improved here with the help of a larger displacement, but the inner cylinder design of the scavenging channels and their larger dimensions considerably improve performance across the entire speed range.

The cylinder we have chosen, the Malossi 70, which has proven itself over many years, is a fully suitable for everyday use, yet still sporty. The Malossi combines an agile and lively throttle response with a wide rev range under load. This enables it to master the difficult balancing act of good acceleration and high top speed, and it also responds very well to more extensive tuning measures such as a sports exhaust and a larger carburettor.

The kit contains the basic parts to enable the engine to develop its full power.
This allows the intake system to breathe freely through the open intake manifold and larger carburetor, the cylinder thanks this with a greatly improved performance and better durability through increased internal cooling.

The sets can be combined with the standard exhaust without any problems, then they are absolutely inconspicuous and already much stronger than with standard cylinders.

An inconspicuous sport exhaust in standard design, as offered by e.g. Tecnigas or LeoVince, rounds off the complete package perfectly. An even better performance in combination with a quiet exhaust with approval makes a 50cc scooter already a very fast vehicle that does not attract attention in everyday life by noise and rpm.

To be able to adapt the carburetor individually to the different existing conditions, such as a sports exhaust, a nozzle set for the respective carburetor is included in each kit.

If a too small main nozzle is used, the engine can lose weight and destroy the cylinder within a very short time. The basic rule for a durable and well tuned engine is very easy to realize. It always starts with the choice of a main nozzle that is so large that it makes the engine stutter under load. Starting from this you work your way down slowly, i.e. for example starting from a nozzle size 88 you choose (in the respective nozzle gradation) a smaller and smaller nozzle size (86, 84, 82 etc.) until the scooter does not stutter under full load any more. This is a very good starting point for further fine-tuning of the carburetor needle, side jet etc.
A Malossi Sport 70cc with 17.5mm carburetor and a corresponding exhaust already mobilizes to 10-11hp at the rear wheel, which would allow it to easily pull a longer gearbox if a further increase in top speed is desired.

All in all the foundation-stone for a solid engine tuning which remains suitable for everyday use and low consumption despite the increased performance.
