Description


Complete cylinder kit to bring any PX80 to 125cc displacement without changing the crankshaft.
If the kit is registered by individual acceptance at the TÜV, you can benefit from the significantly lower insurance rates of the 125cc models.
To do this, only the cylinder including piston and head must be changed, the fuselage engine remains unopened. However, this should be in perfect condition. Experience has shown that many PX80s have not been ridden for a long time, and that the rubber oil seals in the engine are the main ones to suffer. If these are brittle / hardened, the engine can draw air, even if he was perhaps only 5000km driven.an engine revision is therefore always to be considered.

The original 80cc engine produces about 5hp at the rear wheel. With our conversion cylinder, the power increases to a remarkable 7-8HP, the whole with extreme reliability. So the cylinder is already in the range of a 135 DR. In the diagram below you can see the direct comparison between an original PX80 with original exhaust (red curve) and the SCK 125cc conversion cylinder also with original exhaust (red curve). In combination with a better exhaust (BGM Big Box Touring, Polini Box) the cylinder performs about 1-2HP more.

With a longer gear ratio (possible by simply changing the clutch pinion to 22 teeth) the top speed is also significantly increased. Due to the significantly wider torque curve, the gears no longer have to be fully accelerated through, and consumption is reduced.
Two vehicles equipped with prototypes of the SCK conversion cylinder were on the road in 2011 for several thousand kilometers without problems or breakdowns. Drivers are simply thrilled with the performance and low consumption.

Recommended fueling:

TIP:
If you like you can measure the pinch edge (distance between piston top and combustion chamber, measured on the very outside of the piston) by means of a thin solder.
The value can easily be reduced to 0.6mm which can improve torque and performance.
If the value is e.g. on 1.0mm, two of the three seals can be removed whereby the distance from piston to combustion chamber is reduced by approx. 0.4mm.
Adjust the jetting again if necessary.




















Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to deliver this cylinder with a TÜV certificate.
The technical and formal hurdles for such a certificate are now so high that it would not be economically feasible (the selling price of the cylinder would be much too high).
In this case, please arrange an individual acceptance with the TÜV.

The cylinder is suitable without modification on Elestart engine housing!

Leichter Umbau - Eintragung ohne Probleme

Hatte erst bedenken wg. der Eintragung, nachdem ich beim örtlichen TÜV aber mal vorbei gefahren bin, dem TÜVer das Ganze erklärt und alle Unterlagen zur Durchsicht gemailt habe, bekam ich das ok von ihm - d.h. es wird dann auch eingetragen.
Conversion Kit bestellt, original und ohne weitere Tuning Maßnahmen verbaut (lief sofort auf den 1. Kick) und zum TÜV damit zur Eintragung.
Funktionierte super (TÜV Süd in Bayern).
Das einzige was ich geändert hatte: ich hatte bereits eine sehr große Hauptdüse verbaut, warum auch immer, und diese durch eine etwas kleinere ersetzt - nun kann ich das Standgas auch endlich einstellen ;-)
Langzeit Test steht noch aus, da ich es bisher noch nichtmal geschafft habe, den Zylinder und Kolben einzufahren.

Würde das Kit sofort wieder kaufen (und kein DR oder ähnliches), da meine Frau nur max 125ccm fahren darf und: der Plug and Play Umbau ohne weitere große Änderungen ist das absolute Plus von diesem Kit.

mat und lieferumfang lässt keine wünsche übrig. leider wäre eine montageanleitung/montagehinweis, dass keine zylinderfussdichtung mehr benötigt wird, dafür aber die mitgelieferte distanzplatte montiert werden muss, hilfreich gewesen.

Die Leistungssteigerung ist Klasse, jedoch ist die angelieferte Qualität nicht das, was es sein sollte. Überall Grat und einfach nur schlecht verarbeitet.
Hier muss selber nachbearbeitet werden, bevor das Produkt zu verwenden ist.
