The sound is quite pleasant, but depending on the cylinder, head angle and exhaust shape it varies a lot. The basic volume is much higher than that of an original exhaust system.
Compared to JL's exhaust systems it is a little brighter and more tinny in sound, just like a motocross exhaust system. In the lower rpm range it is suitable for urban use without any problems.

The PM systems are available in untreated sheet metal or chrome-plated.
