The PM40 Evolution Curly exhaust comes from none other than tuning legend Paul Melici.
The workmanship is PM typical. Finest MIG welds and a beautifully crafted muffler are as natural here as the excellent fit and the hydraulically pressed cones.

Its special shape, which only fits in frames without luggage compartment or battery holder, offers a very inconspicuous way to drive a powerful sport exhaust.
On chassis that have a luggage compartment (e.g. Vespa ET3) or a battery holder (PK models with electric starter) the frame has to be adjusted accordingly before mounting.

The PM gives very good results on all tour-oriented engines. It has been deliberately designed with a wide range of power to ensure that it works well on all setups. It is almost the only performance-oriented exhaust system that offers a hole-free rise, i.e. there is no performance gap before the exhaust is supported. Therefore a PM40 equipped engine converts at any time a twist of the throttle grip into propulsion.
The PM40 Curly is an ideal companion for the Polini 133 / 133Racing.
Depending on the machining of the cylinder and the used intake system a rear wheel power of more than 16HP and a torque of 16NM is no problem at all. Compared to JL's exhaust systems, it is a little brighter and more tinny in sound, just like a motocross exhaust system. In the lower rpm range it is suitable for urban use without any problems.

The PM systems are available in untreated sheet metal or chrome-plated.
The untreated systems are supplied oiled and should be protected against the brown plague with our heat-resistant exhaust paint or a galvanic coating before starting up.
