To take advantage of the positive effects of a large carburettor (more power, more torque, more draft), Polini uses a clever trick. The passage of the carburettor opens after the slider to a much bigger diameter, simulating a much bigger cross section.
So the Polini CP carburettor with 23 millimetres of passage gives much more power than a PWK24 carburettor.
Thanks to the small dimensions and the integrated intake manifold, the CP carburettor is ideal on all high performance engines where a small size is an advantage.
