BGM primary drive wheels are bullet proof. They have been developed for high performance and torque of current engines and made of high-alloyed steel (SCM415 / 15 CrMo 5), which meets highest production standards. The production of BGM primary drive wheels relies on an extremely high resistance of the basic material (up to 1100N/mm2, HRC 58-62).
Production meets the high standard of production at Honda. Each individual part has a test protocol, which represents permanently consistent quality assurance.
- High quality material 15 CrMo 5
- Precise production according to Honda standards
- Consistent quality assurance
- Suitable for all layshafts from 1962 onwards (with primary springs of 30mm length resp.)
- Available with 64T or 65T
- Can be combined with original clutch sprocket: 23T
- Can be combined with BGM clutch sprocket for COSA2: 22T, 23T, 24T
Black colour and handy labelling with the amount of teeth characterise the BGM primary drive wheels.
The 64 teeth primary drive wheel is especially interesting. In combination with BGM clutch sprockets with 22, 23 or 24 teeth it covers a ratio range from 2.90-2.66.
You want to assemble another exhaust or cylinder? No problem. Simply exchange the clutch sprocket and perfectly adjust the gear ratio without having to divide the engine.
BGM primary drive wheels are the perfect add-on to the indestructible BGM Superstrong clutch. All BGM Superstrong clutches with 22 (for primary drive wheel 65), 23 and 24 teeth fit these primary drive wheels.
HINT: When assembling to an engine with high revs, also build in the harder BGM primary springs. This springs reduce diving, which means that you always have sufficient spring travel to smooth out peak loads. This saves gearbox and clutch.
