This is the answer of the MALOSSI tuning gurus to the growing 80cc High End cylinder class. At a closer inspection it is visible that it isn t simply a cylinder kit with a diameter enlarged to 50mm. Instead it is completely new designed barrel. The portin layout has some fine knack to get an optimized flow especially of the transfer ports. So you find a barrel that is state of the art when it comes to up-to-date 2stroke tuning.
The cylinder has to be used with a crankshaft of 44mm stroke and with a 85mm con rod for a 13mm gudgeon pin. Only racing crankshafts can sustain the power output of such kits.
Thanks to the increased capacity and the revised porting layout the cylinder is stated with a power output of 26 hp and more.
To get the cylinder kit fitted to your casings, they have to be reamed out to 56,7mm to accept the increased cylinder diameter.
