Malossi has made significant changes to the clear design of the twin cylinder, which is made by Yamaha from a single block, allowing the bore to be significantly enlarged. The mechanical and thermal characteristics of the original cylinder remain unchanged.
The pistons, which are made of a special alloy, deserve special attention, and their design allows them to withstand the stresses that occur even after prolonged use.
