CDI unit -NARAKU- racing V.2 for Kymco 4-stroke

Description

Tuning CDI ignition unit NARAKU without speed limiter. This component is needed to unthrottle the vehicle. The Kymco 4-stroke models are limited by the CDI unit. With bigbore cylinder kits the power and acceleration increases, but the top speed does not increase to the desired extent. But if you want to go a few Km/h faster, you need this CDI. From January 2009 this is available as a further developed V.2 version. The ignition curve was optimized and realizes now an improved start behavior and increased acceleration values

.Attention! On models with inductive tachometer (e.g. Yager 50 GT), it can happen that malfunctions can occur on the tachometer. This then no longer shows the correct speed value. Concerns regarding the ignition system and the engine do not exist thereby. This problem can be limited as far as possible by using interference suppressed spark plugs and spark plug connectors. However, it cannot be ruled out at present.

Only suitable for scooters with DC ignition system.

Note: Whether an AC or DC CDI is installed, can be determined as follows.

Disconnect battery
Switch on ignition
start with kick starter

If the scooter starts, an AC CDI is installed.
