Description


The Polini Box exhaust is a very good alternative to the well known but aging SIP Road. The Polini outperforms it over the whole rev band, both in power and torque. The early and high torque application makes the Polini Box the ideal touring companion. The well thought out construction of the Polini exhaust makes it possible to keep the low and pleasant noise level of the system permanently.

The Polini Box is built a little wider for more volume but not higher than an original exhaust. This makes it a good choice also on vehicles with low ground clearance (Rally, Sprint and all with 8 inch tyres like VBB,VNB...).

The quality and fit is good, even the exhaust paint on the manifold lasts longer than average. Harmonizes very well with the BGM177 cylinder.

TIP: Choose 2-3 sizes bigger than the SIP Road

NOTE: The exhaust was designed explicitly for the PX models. On older vehicles, which were built before the PX series, it is possible that the stop plate of the main stand touches the manifold. Either modify it accordingly or check if a too long distance piece was mounted between shock absorber and frame (Sprint / Rally = 26mm). On the 125-150 cc engines of the Sprint, VBB etc. the engine block should also be provided with a hole for a through exhaust screw. Otherwise the exhaust will only hang on the rear bracket. This is not sufficient in the long run, because it can break off.

Montageanleitung beachten

Das Teil macht einen stabilen Eindruck.
Bei der Montage müssen (!!) bei der PX die Halteklammern des Hauptständers entfernt und die Federn direkt eingehängt werden, sonst "klemmt" der Auspuff.

Der Auspuff passt entgegen der Beschreibung nicht an Oldies, Anpassungen nicht möglich (77er TS)!

Mal schnell den Pott wechseln ?

Fahre ein MV150S mit nem org. LML 150/2t. Vorweg, fährt sich einfach satter, schöner Sound und Spielraum nach oben. Man sollte auch jeden Fall die original Mutter im Cage gegen eine Selbstsichernde austauschen. Hatte den Puff 2x angeschraubt, kam mit der Schraube einfach nicht bis zum Anschlag, weil die Mutter welche original verbaut ist sorry Schrott ist. Entweder ab Werk verkehrt herum verbaut, weil von der anderen Seite her gings, oder Gewinde im Popo, also definitiv gegen eine Selbstsichernde, passende tauschen. Cage ist von einer Seite her nicht verschweißt. Wenn das geschafft ist, machts auch richtig Spaß!
