Parmakit differentiates between the following versions:
long stroke version (60mm) of the proven 177cc Parmakit cylinder for Vespa PX 125-150.
The long stroke shaft increases the displacement to 187cc. Parmakit has manufactured the cylinder head in such a way that the cylinder can be driven without the normally necessary spacer (to maintain the correct distance between piston and combustion chamber). Compared to the 57mm stroke version, the massive CNC head no longer has a combustion chamber centered in the raceway.
The cylinder has four generously dimensioned main overflow valves and a boost port. The outlet is supported by two small secondary outlet channels. With large surfaces and moderate control times, the cylinder is designed as a powerful tourer. With the right exhaust system, outputs over 20 HP are possible without machining.
The delivery includes six foot and five head gaskets, each 0.2mm thick, for adjusting the control angle and the pinching edge.
FAZIT: Cylinder for the long tour with high cruising speed.
TIP: If the cylinder is to be driven with a foot seal spacer (e.g. 1.0mm) for a very powerful setup, it is recommended to use the cylinder variant for 57mm stroke. The 57mm version has a head whose combustion chamber protrudes into the cylinder. The distance between combustion chamber and piston can therefore be adjusted better here than with the 60mm variant, in addition the combustion chamber is then still centered by the raceway.
