Description


By combining different clutch pinions and primary gears, it is possible to intervene very nicely in the transmission ratio of the engine. This is possible due to a quite universal gear module of the primary gears. For example, on the 68 tooth primary wheel, as it is installed in almost all models up to and including 125 cc, clutches with 20, 21 and 22 teeth can be used without any other modification!
In general it can be said that on the very often installed 68 tooth primary wheels almost any clutch can be used. Exception is the 23 tooth sprocket of the 200 cc models. These can only be used on the 65 teeth primary wheel. The exchange of the sprockets only requires the removal of the clutch. Then the existing sprocket is simply replaced with the new sprocket and everything is reassembled in reverse order.
