Description
This Dell'Orto SHB16 15 F is exclusively used in the PK XL2 (also FL2/HP models). You can see that they have the choke lever on the handlebars (not above the fuel tap as on the previous models). It has a supply of the choke cable from below and has therefore a so called pull rocker.
The SHB series is the classic among scooter carburettors. This successful carburettor type was used on almost every small frame.
The very easy to adjust carburettors are available with diameters up to 19mm. The passage is sufficiently dimensioned, in order to make also engines with 112 ccm sufficiently mixture available. Due to their very identical construction, independent of the carburettor cross section, these carburettors are optimally suited to fit the V50, PK50 with a 16mm carburettor as standard with a larger one.
Attention: A larger carburettor must have a different intake manifold because the carburettors have a different inner diameter and a different clamping width.
