Extremely resilient clutch, very easy to operate - Made in Germany

The Superstrong 2.0 CR clutch combines extreme durability, absolute reliability and easy operation. It is the foundation of every solid engine tuning.
The solid CNC machined clutch basket has excellent concentricity and enormous torsional rigidity. It therefore offers perfect clutch engagement with a clearly defined grinding point and clean cutting. It can be used by the touring driver who values high quality as well as the ambitious racer who is looking for an extremely resilient and stable clutch.

SUITABLE / UPGRADE FOR PINASCO CRANKSHAFTS WITH TOOTHING
The clutch basket is intended to convert an existing clutch of the type Cosa2 for Pinasco's own crankshaft type with gear teeth, as used for example in the 250/251ccm engine set. Both conventional Cosa couplings (Piaggio, Newfren, Ferodo) and reinforced versions (SC, Superstrong, MMW etc.) are suitable for conversion.
If not already available, clutch facings of type CR80 are required. We have these in various designs in our assortment.

ULTRALUBE
The latest generation of Superstrong 2.0 CR clutches now features an innovative new technology: Ultralube. Ultralube delivers (through precisely defined holes and centrifugal force) gear oil both to the highly loaded hub profile (between clutch basket and clutch hub) and to the clutch facings themselves. This technology, unique in the vespa sector, makes the legendary Superstrong 2.0 CR clutch even more stable than it already is. A clutch designed for eternity.

PADS TYPE CR
The Supertrong 2.0 CR uses the pad type of the Honda CR80/VFR400.
These have a larger effective radius, less weight, wider tabs and a very durable rubber material. The advantages are a lighter clutch, which separates faster and is still extremely resilient. If this basket is to be used as a replacement for a standard clutch basket, please order the matching CR clutch facings at the same time.
