To achieve higher revs you should consider a racing crankshaft. Beside the very good overall quality the timings of the inlet duration is longer. This gives a better cylinder filling and hence more power over the complete rev range. A good step not just for revvy engines.

Specially on engines with larger capacities it gives great results. The rev range is noticeable broadened and the engines revs much higher.

The 3mm longer stroke gives a nice increase in capacity. The longer stroke has to be equaled with cylinder top or/and base gaskets of different thicknesses. With the setting of the gaskets you can affect if it should be more torquey or revvy.
