Description

Parmakit has launched a series of cylinders for the large smallframe engines. In terms of power, the cylinders, when plugged in and without the very large engine layout, have a rear wheel power of over 20 HP. The quality of the nicasil-coated aluminium cylinders is beyond any doubt. Both the casting and coating quality and the dimensional accuracy leave nothing to be desired. The piston comes with a ring of chrome-coated S10 steel. Common to all cylinders is the 5-port layout. Large transfer ports on the engine housing open into four windows in the raceway. The overflow system is supported by a boost port. The bore has a diameter of 57 mm and with a shaft with 51 mm stroke, the displacement is 130 cc. The control times are thus 130° overflow to 190° outlet, forward outlet 30°. The kits are driven with an NGK B9ES or Bosch W3CC candle. The SP09 variant is supplied with fresh gas via the inlet in the engine housing. The difference between SP09 and SP09 ovals is the outlet design. The Ovale comes with a one-piece oval outlet. The SP09 has a bridge in the outlet, for the poetic ones a so called "butterfly port".
The mastermind behind the Hammerzombie exhaust systems has had with the SP09 simply plugged on his Polini rotary vane engine about 23 hp at the rear wheel. Nice to see in the diagram how much smoke the cylinder already has out of the box. To be on the safe side you should check the dimensional accuracy of the bar in the exhaust. It may be necessary to grind it back slightly. The cylinder is delivered with a massive CNC head with central combustion chamber.
Conclusion:
  • Easy to achieve Ü-20 HP at the rear wheel with massive expansion potential
  • The carburettor recommendation from Parmakit is 26-36 mm.
  • Our recommendation here are the bgm KWP carburettors with 24-30 mm diameter, the Keinhin PWMs and the Mikuni carburettors.
  • The diameter of the outlet flange is 36 mm, the distance of the outlet studs 62 mm.
