LTH exhaust system "Midrange" for Vespa PV, V50

The LTH Midrange systems are the result of the demand to develop a powerful exhaust system that does not need any modifications to the scooter frame and is quiet enough for daily traffic. Due to the cleverly chosen design, this type of exhaust still provides more than enough ground clearance to be successful in racing. In order to meet the various requirements of both the engine and the driver, the LTH systems are now available in three different versions. As the name suggests, the midrange facility is the middle ground between LTH Road and LTH Race. If the Race mobilizes all horses via the rpm, the midrange is characterized by a more pleasant power input with only slightly lower maximum power than the Race. The pre-reso power is higher than in the race, so it is the first choice for the competition in the ESC and for all those who want to drive with a lot of power on the road.
The exhaust nozzle, the flange, is available in two versions, with 52mm and 62mm steel bolt spacing. The 52mm version fits Polini, Malossi and Quattrini M1,L,R cylinders. The 62mm version is suitable for Falc, Parmakit W-Force, SP09Evo and Polini Evolution cylinders.
With the Midrange exhaust and a Quattrini M1L V2009 adjusted to 188° up to 27 HP are possible. In the rpm and performance comparison with the Franz exhaust the Midrange is a bit above, the Road a bit below.

The optimum exhaust control angles are:

Road: 180°
Midrange: 180-190°
Race: 190°
