Description
Very nice reproduction of the, in our opinion, most shapely front rack for the older Vespa/Motovespa vehicles up to approx. Bj. 1977.
Fits on Vespa Wideframe (all models from Bj. 1946) as well as on Vespa & Motovespa Largeframe (all models with metal horn nose, i.e. before Vespa PX/DN/DS).

bare metal (not rust protected)
We like the bare metal version so much because of the nice soldered joints in steam-punk optic, that we offer it as well.
To get a corrosion protection with the same optic the rack can be clear varnished, clear powdered, waxed or oiled.

Grundsätzlich zufrieden
Optisch tatsächlich wie in der Artikelbeschreibung einer der schönsten Gepäckträger für die Largeframes.
Mittlerweile dürfte sich auch die beiden, unteren "Befestigungsstangen" geändert haben, denn ich habe blanke, mit einem Schutzschlauch versehen erhalten, nicht pure Gewindestangen wie das noch beim Vorposter der Fall war. Passgenauigkeit nicht volle Punkte da die angeschweißten Führungen was den Winkel betrifft, nicht zu 100% gleich auf beiden Seiten ist, somit stehen die beiden Haken etwas unterschiedlich und aufgrund der kurzen Gewinde musste ich den gesamten Gepäckträger auch etwas aus der Mitte montieren. Hält aber bombenfest.

Schöner Gepäckträger mit kleinen…
Ganz gute Qualität (Chromversion), die Beinschildstreben als einfache gebogene Gewindestange sind aber ärmlich. Im Bereich vom Beinschild habe ich ein Stück Benzinschlauch übergezogen, damit die Gewindestange nicht wie eine Eisensäge wirken kann. Kleinigkeiten, aber ja auch ein stolzer Preis für das Teil. Letztlich dürfen wir aber dankbar sein, dass sich jemand um solche Nachbauten kümmert. Habe das Teil an einer Sprint verbaut und bin letztlich zufrieden.
