The handlebars of the LML models are, like the Italian standard parts, solidly cast in aluminium. In contrast to the original, however, they have a nice technical feature: Slide-mounted throttle and shift tubes.
Three plastic and one brass bushing are used in the lower part of the handlebars.
This ensures friction-free operation of the throttle and shift grip at all times and effectively prevents wear on the handlebars.

The LML handlebars fit all PX models. They are available for vehicles with drum brake or disc brake. On vehicles before 1984 the outer diameter of the handlebar lower part may have to be slightly reduced to avoid touching the leg shield reinforcement brace. On both types of steering head the Italian steering head covers fit.
On a handlebar lower part for disc brake the steering head cover of the old PX models before 1984 can also be installed and vice versa.

Note: The bushings are not included in delivery. We offer them individually as well as in a set (see accessories). If you want to use the original LML/Piaggio brake line with the lower part of the handlebars for disc brakes, you will also need the gas pipe of the PX Disc / LML Star models.

The delivery of the lower part of the handlebars consists of the pure primed cast aluminium body, without any attachments. For completion is still needed:
