Here both the quality and the technical features of the original ignition were far exceeded. The coils of the alternator have a higher number of windings in the new V2.0 version, and are also wired in an improved diagram. The result is a brilliant and extremely powerful light output. The Pick Up is also of extremely high quality and always provides the CDI with an exact ignition signal due to a carbon barrier layer. This not only improves the starting behaviour, but the ignition remains stable even with very high revving engines. The high quality wiring ensures that the high light and ignition performance is transmitted reliably and permanently. With its high wattage, it already provides a very good light output when idling, which does not diminish even when using the indicators or additional power consumers. Maintenance work, as is usual with contact ignitions, is not necessary. When converting from contact ignition to this base plate, the use of a different fan wheel, voltage regulator and CDI is necessary. Everything necessary for this is available individually or as a set. The comprehensive scope of supply also includes the cable lugs, which can be individually adapted to the vehicle depending on the model and the installation of the electrical system.
