Internal rotor ignitions are a must for all high-end engines.
The ignitions installed by the series manufacturer only give a clean ignition impulse up to a certain speed. The Malossi MHR Team II ignition works up to 20.000 rpm. The discharge voltage is about 30.000 Volt.
Thanks to the extremely small and light rotor the engine hangs much more poisonous on the gas and offers more power over the whole speed range. So your scooter not only accelerates much better, it also reaches a higher top speed.
The microprocessor controlled CDI unit offers the additional advantage of a variable ignition timing. With increasing rpm the timing shifts towards top dead centre. Thus you win around down clearly in torque and relieve the engine thermally in the upper speed ranges.
The scope of supply of this ignition consists of: Flywheel, stator, ignition coil and the microprocessor-controlled CDI unit.
