Reed valve intake system -POLINI Diaphragm 360°
Suitable for all engine housing variants of large frame engines such as the Vespa Sprint, Rally, PX, Cosa. Now with reduced passage for engine housings with small sealing surface (T5 and PX80-150 with less than 60 mm sealing surface, measured between the holes for the carburettor mounting screws).
The newly added sealing surface inside the nozzle forms a strong flow edge, on housings with a long sealing surface we recommend milling the inside of the nozzle. Alternatively, we recommend the MMW EVO1 intake manifold.
As with all conversions to a diaphragm-controlled inlet, the original rotary slide valve control via crank cheek is omitted. Thus the engine housing can and should be milled (for an optimal performance increase). Optionally a crankshaft for diaphragm inlet is recommended for a further increase of the engine performance.
Intake rubber infinitely variable 360° adjustable
Good insulation of the carburettor against engine heat
Small construction height
Rubberized, self-sealing membrane body with 0.3mm carbon plates
Oil pump hole cover
Suitable for motor housings with short or long sealing surface
Attention: For mounting it is necessary to screw two brass threaded bushes (enclosed) into the holes of the carburettor mounting screws of the engine housing. The connection piece itself is attached to the engine housing with two M5 hexagon socket screws.
