LeoVince Gran Turismo BLACK EDITION WITHOUT CATALYST for cars before 2006 >p>The LeoVince GranTurismo Exhaust is the successor of the popular 4Road systems. The completely new developed exhaust now has a reflection damping and is therefore acoustically a bit more reserved compared to the 4Road (absorption damping). Due to the elaborate multi-chamber damping a DB-Eater, as it was used up to now, is no longer necessary.

The exhaust body itself is made of stainless steel and is now completely surrounded by a heat protection cover. This is, like the deep-drawn end piece, made of black-coated stainless steel and is screwed to the exhaust body and can therefore be dismantled. The more massive design of the GranTurismo results in only 400gr. more weight compared to the 4Road.

The manifold is fixed to the exhaust by a noble clamp. The graphite penetrated gasket additionally provides a flexible connection between muffler and manifold. The silencer itself is fixed to a mounting plate (also made of stainless steel) by means of three elastic suspension points. Thus the system always has sufficient clearance to compensate for any possible tensions (heat, bumps).

Optically the system is much more modern than its predecessor. The beautiful oval design ends in a strictly geometrical end piece which leaves a very harmonious and sporty impression due to the soft radii.

NOTE for vehicles from 125ccm with homologation date after 01.01.2006:
These may only be operated with a regulated catalytic converter.
If this is removed, the type approval expires.
