Description


The Polini Box exhaust represents a very good alternative to the well-known but outdated SIP Road exhaust. The Polini exhaust exceeds the SIP Road over the whole rev range, in power as well as in torque. Thanks to the high torque at a low rev range the Polini exhaust is ideal for long tours. The well-thought-out design of the exhaust allows you to always keep a low sound emission.

The Polini exhaust has a higher volume and is therefore wider, but not higher than the genuine exhaust. As a result, it perfectly fits also vehicles with a low clearance (Rally, Sprint and all vehicles with 8-inch tyres such as VBB,VNB, etc.).

Good quality and fit, even the exhaust lack on the downpipe lasts much longer. Perfect in combination with the BGM177 cylinder.

TIP: in comparison with the SIP Road, the jets hall be 2 or 3 sizes bigger in order to get a richer mixture.

PLEASE NOTE: the exhaust has been specially designed for the PX models. If mounted on the vehicles before the PX series, the bracket of the central stand may touch the exhaust downpipe. You can either modify the bracket or check whether the spacer between shock absorber and chassis is to long (Sprint/Rally = 26mm). Moreover, on the 125-150 cc engine of the models Sprint, VBB etc. the engine casing should feature a hole for the exhaust screw. If this is not the case, the exhaust will only hang on the back bracket which may be not sufficient, over time, to carry the weight of the exhaust and may eventually brake.

Mal schnell den Pott wechseln ?

Fahre ein MV150S mit nem org. LML 150/2t. Vorweg, fährt sich einfach satter, schöner Sound und Spielraum nach oben. Man sollte auch jeden Fall die original Mutter im Cage gegen eine Selbstsichernde austauschen. Hatte den Puff 2x angeschraubt, kam mit der Schraube einfach nicht bis zum Anschlag, weil die Mutter welche original verbaut ist sorry Schrott ist. Entweder ab Werk verkehrt herum verbaut, weil von der anderen Seite her gings, oder Gewinde im Popo, also definitiv gegen eine Selbstsichernde, passende tauschen. Cage ist von einer Seite her nicht verschweißt. Wenn das geschafft ist, machts auch richtig Spaß!
