The Polini Evolution reed valve block offers a larger intake area and therefore contributes to a better cylinder filling. The intake angle is flow optimized on the PC to ensure a perfect flow of the mixture.
The surface of the reed block is vulcanized and so the carbon plates seal perfectly and provide a perfect pressure balance in the crankcase.
To fit the reed block in your Piaggio case you have to mill your case accordingly. All too much material does not have to be taken away.
