Primary wheel -POLINI 2.56->2.46- Vespa Smallframe
All Smallframe engines always have the same gear ratios (except three-speed and automatic). A longer gear ratio is achieved ex works only by so-called primary gears of different lengths. These ratios are available in numerous gear ratios. How long this ratio should be depends on the available displacement and the power delivery of the engine. In the large class (the displacements from 125 ccm) it is not necessary to extend the already standard quite long primary of the 125'er (2.54) again. Here the speed plus of the racing cylinders brings in relation to the standard version already a full speed plus. However, Polini hereby offers a possibility of the straight toothed primary 2.56 once again to extend to 2.46. Here only this primary wheel must be exchanged, which is suitable from the module to the primary.nur kombinarbar with Polini primary!
