Create and personalise your 75cc tuning kit. From a D.R. cylinder with three transfer ports to the Malossi racing kit.
Find the right cylinder for your V50: from "D.R. 75" to the powerful "Polini 75 Racing".
In Germany, the original V50 has a carburettor Dellorto SHB 16/10 which reduces the power of the engine. Therefore we recommend to replace it with a carburettor which does not cause a reduction in power, i.e. with the SHB16/16 version.
If you have a Malossi 75 or Polini Racing 75 cylinder it is necessary to mount a 19mm carburettor: SHB19/19
The intake manifold must always fit the carburettor, that is the inner diameter of the carburettor.
If you replace the standard SHB 16/10 carburettor with a SHB 16/16 carburettor, the intake manifold shall also be replaced with the suitable manifold for a 16mm carburettor. Similarly, if you want to have a more powerful engine and use a Dellorto SHB 19/19 19mm carburettor, then you also have to mount the suitable manifold.
The genuine exhaust of the German Vespa V50 has a narrow exhaust elbow which served as regulator and therefor it should always be replaced. For a daily ride on a Vespa with a 75cc cylinder we reccomend an exhaust similar to the genuine one, that is
If you mount a new carburettor you should always mount a new throttle cable.
Before placing your order, please remove the headlight to check what kind of bracket is mounted for the throttle and gear change cable.
Our BGM-PRO throttle cable is available in two versions:
- for plastic bracket
- for metallic bracket
The choke cable is also available in two versions:
- for SHB 16/10 and SHB 16/16 carburettor
- for SHB 19/19 carburettor
If you mount a new cylinder you shall also mount a new spark plug.
