The Vesparatur voltage converter allows the original 6V DC horn to continue to operate when the vehicle electrical system has been converted to 12V.
Prerequisite is a 12V DC power supply, e.g. with the BGM horn rectifier (BGM6710).
The voltage converter can NOT be operated with AC power.

Original horns with the appropriate patina are much more attractive than the few 12V horns available, many of which are also too large
for the horn hole in the cascade.
The small size of the voltage transformer allows it to be placed behind the cascade.

If the horn is connected to ground via the switch, such as on the BGM conversion harness,
the voltage transformer can be integrated plug-and-play into the existing wiring.
