Description
Gel filled BS SLA battery.
A gel/SLA battery has battery acid bound in a silica gel.
This allows it to be operated in any position (horizontal or diagonal) and is 100% leak-proof. It is also filled by the manufacturer and ready to use right out of the box.
In addition, it has a longer service life than a conventional battery.
Likewise, the possible withdrawal current at low temperatures is higher. A great advantage for year-round riders.
NOTE: The following specifics apply to the sale of starter batteries: According to § 10 BattG, the seller is obliged to charge end users a deposit of 7.50 euros including VAT if the end user does not return a used starter battery to the seller at the time of purchase of the new starter battery. The customer will receive a deposit voucher when purchasing a starter battery. When returning the old starter battery to a collection point set up by the public waste disposal authority, the Customer shall have the disposal confirmed by means of a stamp and signature. The customer then has the option of returning this confirmation to the seller for reimbursement of the deposit, stating his customer number. Alternatively, the customer can also return his old starter battery directly to the seller together with the deposit receipt for refund of the deposit. (Due to the dangerous goods regulations, shipping the old battery to the seller is not permitted.
