Description
Reinforced Casa Performance chain tensioner guide for all Lambretta J50, Cento, J125 (3 speeds), J125 Starstream (4 speeds), Lui, Vega and Cometa models.
There are two different types of chain tensioners for Innocenti Lambrettas with different mounting holes, and this CP chain tensioner can be used for both types.
The actual chain guide block is made of an ultra-hard, glass-impregnated special plastic, and the metal plates are all laser-cut from 4mm stainless steel.
The inside of the chain tensioner has four metal bushings to ensure that the mounting bolts do not loosen over time, which can happen from overzealous tightening if these bushings were omitted in the design.
In the meantime, this chain tensioner has proven itself since its release.
It can be used with or without the original lower guide (by omitting the small oval plate that comes with the guide).
When using this guide without the original lower guide, place the oval plate under the CP guide before tightening the 2 mounting screws.
Always use threadlocker on the (clean) mounting bolts during assembly.
Special note for 3 speed J + Luna Line motor housings that are being converted to 4 or 5 speed: You will also need a spacer.
