Everybody who uses a big carburetor on his tuned engine will have been confronted with the question if the connecting rubber to the intake manifold can be able to hold the sometimes very heavy carburetors safely. Especially considering the short connecting surfaces on the carburetor. Nothing is worse than a carburetor that falls off while driving and the supply of fresh mixture is suddenly interrupted.
Remedy here is the so-called "Monkfish" ("monkfish") from the house CMD.
With its 6 sharp teeth (= grub screws with tip) and the extra generous sealing and mounting surface for intake gums.
Perfectly adapted to the respective carburetor, it ensures the correct fit and good hold.
Incl. O-ring seal. Depending on the condition of the carburetor surface, some sealant can be applied here for support.
