OVERREV Vespa Lambretta Tuning

Officially, Overrev is listed as a development service provider for two-wheeler parts and gadgets. A sober description for pretty cool and sick stuff that is developed carefully and with really a lot of know-how.

Behind the company Overrev is TimEy, who has been infected by the tuning and two-stroke virus since before (!!!) his teenage years. After Tim's visit to the Quartermile race of the Minusschrauber Rollerklub Bremen in 2005, it was clear that a Vespa was needed.
That came quite quickly and the Germanscooterforum was discovered. As far as that goes, it's not unusual. What comes next definitely makes Tim a non-conformist. Instead of fitting one of the many easily available kits, he gives his V50 a Yamaha DT80 cylinder in his parents' garage. And to do so, he had to convert to water cooling without further ado. A long ordeal with more screwing than riding begins. Tim takes it sportily and enjoys everything he learns along the way. In the course of time, more Vespas with new engine concepts are added. In the meantime, Tim is studying mechanical engineering, writing his bachelor's thesis on resonance exhaust systems on two-stroke engines. While still a student, he founded the company Overrev in 2015.

Overrev's first major product is the Overrev ignitions, which have been available since 2017. Since then, crankshafts, pistons, ignitions, cylinders and various tools have been added. Tim is currently working on larger projects - be curious!
