12V regulator / rectifier with 8 connections, with integrated flasher relay.
The rectifier / regulator changes the AC voltage generated in the alternator into the DC voltage of 12V used in the vehicle electrical system and keeps the voltage within a certain tolerance range. This charges the battery and ensures that light bulbs, for example, do not burn out.
Since this component is exposed to very high temperature loads, it not infrequently breaks down. If the rectifier/regulator is defective, the battery is constantly empty, with certain ignition systems the ignition system no longer works, bulbs burn out continuously or the driving lights flicker.
