With this tuning kit we offer you a package that is tuned from its basic concept, with which you can do nothing wrong with the right installation and setting. Ideal for people who are getting into the subject of tuning. Whoever has licked blood, has a super basis for further development steps!

With this well tuned kit you can breathe more life and sovereignty into your original rather sluggish motorized Vespa, and thus participate more actively in traffic. The Vespa PK50XL2 takes a special role in the circle of the 50cc 4-speed Vespas. Due to its very short primary reduction ratio it would not be much faster with a normal 75cc cylinder, as the engine revs up quite high very early. A classic 75cc cylinder would have already reached the end of its speed range. The 75cc Polini Racing, on the other hand, still offers a lot of air, i.e. rev band upwards, and thus offers the possibility to easily run over 60km/h on the XL2. Also the Polini Racing cylinder is made in classic cast iron technology, very solid and robust.
The package is completed with new clutch facings and a reinforced clutch spring. Often the original clutch, depending on its wear condition, can no longer withstand the higher torque of the 75cc cylinder and should be adapted to the performance of the car with the parts included in the kit. With a clean installation and good adjustment the scooter runs after the conversion easily over 60km/h, the whole thing with much more pulling power.

Optically and acoustically the whole conversion is very discreet and hardly noticeable. The registration in the vehicle documents must be discussed individually with the local TÜV.

The basic engine should be in a healthy condition and not have a too high mileage. Otherwise it is recommended to overhaul the fuselage engine before tuning. Parts, shaft seals, bearings, engine seals etc. can be found in our online shop.

Further tuning stages are possible with sport exhaust systems, an enlargement of the rotary vane inlet area in the engine housing and a larger carburetor.
A new tuning of the engine is then of course mandatory.
