Description
The Gibson MX 1.1 profile is used exclusively on the front wheel and has been designed from the very beginning to meet the demands of professional MX sport. The engineers had to work through a bulging specification sheet, the result of which was completely convincing. The V-shaped profile ensures stable and rich ground contact as well as precise and accurate steering and handling. The external cleats were additionally aligned according to the so-called BOW TIE method in order to ensure optimum ground contact and maximum self-cleaning at every lean angle. The semi-pronounced diamond, which is placed in the tread block at varying angles, does its part to optimally transfer braking forces and ensure optimum cornering stability. The ultra-light and very flexible carcass ensures optimum performance, but at the same time ensures long life and mileage of the front tyre. Especially during hard impacts after a jump, the soft carcass absorbs these shocks perfectly. The Cross-Link technology used on the outer studs, combined with a reinforced shoulder, further improves lateral support, control and stability and prevents the studs from buckling. The patented rubber compound combines a high grip level with outstanding durability, which in turn gives the product a very good price/performance ratio. The low tare weight completes the successful overall package. The Gibson MX 1.1 tread pattern can be used on all types of soil from soft to medium hard.
