The silentblocks are the engine mounting of your Vespa. They are an essential part of the suspension of your scooter. The reinforced bgm engine mounts give much better and direct handling without loosening on comfort and they are cutting down vibrations.
Cornering grip, vibration dampening, drag and shear forces they all need to be handled by the Silentblocks. The bgm ones are the right choice for better road handling, improved cornering and a safer ride and all this without cutting corners on the so important vibration dampening.
Upshot: Vital part of a perfect suspension!
Vespa PX 200, V50, PV125 ET3, PK have the silentblocks pushed into the casing.
Lever the old rubbers out of the casings.
Put the new bgm PRO rubbers into the casings while using a little bit of talcum.
Vespa PX80-150, Sprint, VNA-VBB have originally pressed in silentblocks. To get these of the casings you have to grind, cut or drill off the ends. Then you take off the tube and rubbers from the casings. Put the new bgm PRO rubbers into the casings while using a little bit of talcum.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Don’t grease or oil the new rubbers. Dry mount these and use talcum to ease up the fitting.
