Description
Reinforced compression spring for all Lambretta of the Li family Li, Special, TV, GT, SX and dl / GP.
The reinforced spring is wound from thicker drawn wire made of material for highest static and dynamic load.
The spring rate is 252 N/mm instead of the original 110 to 150 N/mm. The springs are shot peened and compressed. This increases the fatigue strength enormously.
The spring was developed by T5Rainer in Munich and first distributed in the germanscooterforum.de. Rainer was the technical authority in the GSF and patiently helped everyone there with words and deeds for all technical problems. After his sudden and tragic death his friends from the O.O.C. took over the supply of the T5R spring to the scene.
Please note for series 1 and early series 2 engines that they have used a shorter spring with a correspondingly flatter pressure cover. Here please install the pressure spring cover of the series 3 and late series 2.AI-translation
