The cylinder has generous cross-sections and head angles. It is therefore predestined to generate a sporty performance characteristic. The cylinder can be adapted very well to the desired application via the exhaust selection. Exhaust systems such as the VMC Evo52 enable high revs, a peaky performance characteristic along with the typical 2-stroke bite. For those who prefer a touring oriented engine with early torque and good pull already from lower rpm, choose e.g. the VMC Siluro exhaust

SPECIAL FEATURES
Since the cylinder is designed for high power output, it has a generous overcurrent area at the cylinder base. Therefore, a small amount of machining of the crankcase is required for installation. This involves removing the crescent-shaped protrusion of the fan wheel tunnel. In order to mount the large cylinder base in the engine case, the diameter of the case must be enlarged. For this purpose a milling template is included in the kit. This is mounted on the motor housing with screws and serves as a guide for a hand-held milling cutter (Dremel/Proxxon). Alternatively, the housing can also be professionally machined on a CNC milling machine.
