Introduction
Aprilia - RS 125 ABS Replica (2017–2019, ZD4KC000)
The Aprilia RS 125 ABS Replica is a sporty 125 cc motorcycle in GP style, produced by the Italian manufacturer Aprilia.
It is based on the standard RS 125 ABS but features distinctive race-inspired graphics and colour combinations resembling Aprilia’s factory racing bikes.
As a lightweight sports bike with high-quality features and A1 license compliance, it targets beginner riders with a passion for performance and design.
Model History
The Replica version was offered between 2017 and 2019 as a special edition of the RS 125.
Technically identical to the base model, it received exclusive liveries closely inspired by Aprilia’s MotoGP racing designs.
With standard ABS, electronic fuel injection, sporty chassis and modern lighting, the RS 125 ABS Replica was an appealing option for young riders who valued both style and safety.
The model code ZD4KC000 was used for both variants, indicating that the differences were purely cosmetic.
Technical Details
The Aprilia RS 125 ABS Replica is powered by a liquid-cooled single-cylinder four-stroke engine with a displacement of 124 cc.
Maximum output is around 11 kW (15 hp), matching the legal limit for A1 licenses.
The engine features electronic fuel injection and a 6-speed gearbox.
Power is transmitted via chain, with a wet multi-plate clutch.
Top speed is approximately 110 km/h.
Chassis and Brakes
The chassis is built around a rigid aluminium twin-spar frame with sporty geometry.
Up front, an upside-down telescopic fork is used; at the rear, a centrally mounted shock absorber.
Braking is handled by a 300 mm front disc and a 220 mm rear disc, with single-channel ABS at the front wheel.
Tyre sizes are 100/80-17 front and 130/70-17 rear, mounted on lightweight alloy wheels.
Colour Variants
The RS 125 ABS Replica was exclusively offered with race-style graphics that set it apart from the standard RS version.
Common designs included black or silver base colours with contrasting Aprilia logos in red, white and green.
Limited editions were released to match current GP seasons, e.g. “GP Replica” or “Racing Black”.
