Environmental protection is important to us. The proper disposal of batteries and used oils is important for the protection of our environment and is required by law. The following information is aimed at you if you use our batteries or products with built-in batteries.
1. Taking back used batteries free of charge
Under no circumstances may you dispose of batteries with household waste. You are legally obliged to return used batteries in order to ensure proper disposal. You can return your old batteries to municipal collection points or directly to our dispatch warehouse.
We take back all batteries that we carry in our range or that we used to carry in our range.

All batteries are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out dustbin. This symbol indicates that you must not dispose of batteries with normal household waste. For batteries that contain more than 0.0005% mercury by mass, more than 0.002% cadmium by mass or more than 0.004% lead by mass, the chemical names of the harmful substances
"Cd" (cadmium),
"Pb" (lead) and
"Hg" (mercury) are also indicated on the batteries.
3. starter batteries - battery deposit
If we sell you a starter battery, we are obliged under §10 BattG to charge a deposit of €7.50 if you do not return a used starter battery to us at the time of purchase. We will refund the deposit when you return the used battery to us. Alternatively, you can also prove to us that you have returned your starter battery to another disposal point in order to receive a refund of the deposit.
4. Disposal of used oil - note in accordance with the Used Oil Ordinance (AltÖlV)
In accordance with the Used Oil Ordinance, we are obliged to take back the following used oils free of charge:
- Combustion engine oils
- Transmission oils
- Oil filters and oily waste regularly produced during oil changes

50129 Bergheim GlessenPlease note that we only take back used oils in the quantity that corresponds to the quantity purchased from us. You can even send us your used oil by post; however, you will have to pay the shipping costs yourself.
Important note: If you send us used oil for disposal, make sure that you only send it in suitable containers and in accordance with the applicable transport regulations.
