In the 2014 model year, Aprilia launched the 100 version based on the familiar Scarabeo design but equipped it with an air-cooled four-stroke engine and simplified mechanics. The goal was to attract budget-conscious riders looking for a reliable, stylish, and easy-to-use vehicle for everyday commuting.

Technical Details

The Aprilia Scarabeo 100 is powered by an air-cooled single-cylinder four-stroke engine with 96 cc displacement. It produces around 7.1 hp (5.2 kW) at 7,000 rpm and delivers a torque of approximately 7 Nm. Power is transmitted via a continuously variable transmission (CVT), ensuring smooth and simple operation.
Top speed is approximately 90 km/h. The chassis features a sturdy steel tube frame. Suspension includes a hydraulic telescopic fork at the front and a mono-shock at the rear.
