The model combined classic Scarabeo design elements with a commanding presence and offered a comfort-oriented alternative to sportier maxi-scooters.
Model History
With the launch of the ZD4RT version in 2003, Aprilia expanded the Scarabeo family with a model featuring a 500cc engine. It was developed for riders who valued design, ergonomics, luggage capacity, and strong engine performance.
Production ended in 2006, and the model was succeeded by updated versions with technical and visual improvements. Nevertheless, the ZD4RT remains a powerful touring classic.
