Less than ten kilometers from the Innocenti factory premises - in Milan, Rodano - you will find Casa Lambretta. Since 1980, Vittorio Tessera has dedicated himself to the production of Lambretta parts. From parts for the model m (A) to the dl 200. You can find everything about Casa Lambretta in the
.
What or who is Casa Lambretta?
That can be answered relatively soberly. Casa Lambretta was founded in 1980 by Vittorio Tessera to improve the supply of spare parts for the Lambretta. At a time when the Lambretta was being treated like an absolute stepchild, and not just in Italy. Almost forty years later, the Lambretta is more popular than ever before and Casa Lambretta has expanded its range to such an extent that the supply of spare parts is better than ever. From parts for the Model A to those for the dl 200, almost everything is available today.
The world's most important parts supplier
But Casa Lambretta is much more than just - probably - the world's most important parts supplier for the Lambretta. But we'll come to that another time.
Casa is located in Rodano, a part of the metropolitan city of Milan (formerly the province of Milan). Not far from Linate airport and about 15 minutes from the Centro Studi and the former Innocenti factory site in Lambrate.
And here, in his origins, is also one of the reasons why Vittorio, fortunately for us, has become so fixated on the Lambretta. Vittorio tells us:
"I want to make one thing clear, I'm not a scooter racist. I like all of you Vespa, ISO, Lambretta, Moto Guzzi, Gilera. They are all important and beautiful witnesses to a bygone era, and you can learn a lot from them. However, after a few years I had to make a decision for organizational reasons. And since the Lambretta was born in this region, it was the call of my homeland to choose the Lambretta." Vittorio Tessera, Casa Lambretta
Prodotto in Italia
Casa Lambretta moved into its current premises in 2010. Shortly afterwards, we visited him to stock up on parts before the Italian summer break. Vittorio now has his parts warehouse, the workshop for the three full-time restorers (Mario, Maurizio and Fabio) and his new workroom in the 800 square meter building. 95% of Casa Lambretta parts are made in Italy. The small percentage of bought-in parts is usually marked with an A (=Asia) in the origin section of Vittorio's parts lists. Vittorio's wife Orietta keeps track of the orders placed by the Casa Lambretta concessionaires.

Casa Lambretta concessionaire Germany
Since the Eurolambretta 2003, Scooter Center has been the concessionaire of Casa Lambretta Germany and we fondly remember how we finalized the deal with Vittorio in Assisi together with our friends Roberto Graupner and Markus Fröschen. Beyond the pure business relationship and the love for the Lambretta, a long and close friendship has grown.
