Hyosung scooters and mopeds - information, models and suitable spare parts
Hyosung is primarily known for its motorcycles, but has also built scooters in the 50 to 250 cc range for many years. The early SD and SF models used an independent 2-stroke engine, while later vehicles were converted to air- or water-cooled 4-stroke units. With models such as the MS3 or SF50, Hyosung covers both everyday and commuter segments. Thanks to the clear model series structure, spare parts can be reliably identified and technically clearly assigned
Hyosung - robust scooter platforms from Korean production
Model overview, technology and parts supply in Scooter Center
Hyosung started in the European market with the 2-stroke scooters SD50 and SF50, which use their own engine layout and are technically easy to maintain. Later 4-stroke scooters expanded the range to include larger displacements in the commuter segment. Some models are based on GY6-related technology, while others are completely in-house designs. For typical maintenance and repair work such as belts, variator, ignition or brake parts, you will find suitable components for the common Hyosung platforms in the Scooter Center.
Technical features of the Hyosung
SD50 and SF50 models
are based on Hyosung's own 2-stroke layout with uncomplicated CVT drive and air-cooled cylinder, while the MS3 series relies on larger 4-stroke engines with partial injection technology. The engines are easily accessible and clearly structured, making maintenance and diagnostics straightforward. Thanks to the mix of in-house designs and GY6-related assemblies, spare parts allocation is usually clear and feasible in the long term.
